Troubleshooting the TextExpander Chrome Extension

How to troubleshoot TextExpander not expanding

1. Try signing out and then back in again.

• Click on the TextExpander extension icon > Open TextExpander and check that you are signed into your account. 
• If you are already signed in, try signing out and then back in again, then try reloading the webpage you are working on to see if this allows you to expand Snippets.

2. Disabe and Enable expansion.

• Click on the TextExpander icon on the upper right of the Chrome browser.
• Select the cog/gear to open Options.
• Click on ‘Disable Expansion,’ then on ‘Enable Expansion’ to disable, and then enable expansion again. 
• Shift-reload the page by pressing the shift key and clicking on reload.

3. Uninstall and Reinstall the extension.

• Go to https://txpdr.us/techrome and click ‘Remove from Chrome’.
• Then click ‘Add to Chrome’ and sign in.
• After you’ve signed back in, try reloading the page you’re working on to see if there is any improvement.
