Using Snippets through the Share Sheet
Sharing Snippet Content in Mail / Twitter / Email
Using the share screen, copy or send the content of a note or snippet to:
- Mail – Create a new email from your Note or snippet. If you would like the first line of a note in the subject line of the email go to Settings (iPhone/iPod) Settings > General (iPad) and switch on First Line Subject.
- Messages – Create a new text message.
- Twitter – Create a new tweet.
Sending a Note
- Compose a note in the Notes screen.
- Tap Action .
- Tap Copy or the app you would like to use.
Alternately, use a three-finger tap to open the share screen.
If you only want to copy the note, a two-finger swipe left will copy the note.
Sharing a Snippet’s Content (iPhone/iPod touch)
- From the Snippet Groups screen, tap one of your Snippet Groups.
- Tap Action , inline with the snippet you wish to send.
- Tap Copy or the app you would like to use.
Alternately, use a three-finger tap to open the share screen.
If you only want to copy the snippet, a two-finger swipe left will copy the note.
Sharing a Snippet’s Content (iPad)
- From the Snippet Groups screen, tap on one of your Groups.
- Tap a snippet.
- Tap Action
- Tap Copy or the app you would like to use.
Alternately, use a three-finger tap to open the share screen.
If you only want to copy the snippet, a two-finger swipe left will copy the note.
