Using TextExpander for Chrome in Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge supports Chrome extensions, which means TextExpander for Chrome can be installed and used in Edge. Follow the steps below to get set up.

Adding the extension

1. Open Edge and go to the Chrome Web Store.
2. Allow Chrome extensions — if prompted, click “Allow extensions from other stores” in the banner at the top, or go to Edge’s menu (···) → Extensions → toggle on “Allow extensions from other stores.”
3. Find the TextExpander extension in the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome.”
4. Confirm by clicking “Add extension” in the pop-up.

TextExpander for Chrome is now active in Microsoft Edge.
