How Do I Pay For TextExpander For My Team?
Whether you are starting fresh with TextExpander, upgrading from an earlier version, or have an Individual account and want to switch to a Team account, follow the directions for setting up a TextExpander Organization for your team.
This does apply to existing subscriptions that have expired as well.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, you do need to create a TextExpander.com account first.
Set Up Billing
Once you’ve created the Organization, open the Organization’s settings to the billing tab.
- Sign in to your TextExpander.com account.
- Choose the name of your TextExpander Organization on the left side of the screen then select Billing.
- Select the orange button on the right-hand side, this will either say “Start Subscription” or “Get a Team Plan” dependent on your account’s current status.
From there, follow the screens to set up a payment plan, choosing monthly or annual payments, and a payment method, such as a credit card.
Billing works on credits, you will pre-purchase one credit per user per month.
If you have an Individual account, this is all separate from your individual account payments. As a part of the Organization, you, and all the other organization members, are now paid for by the organization.
