How Do I Pay For TextExpander For My Team?

Whether you are starting fresh with TextExpander, upgrading from an earlier version, or have an Individual account and want to switch to a Team account, follow the directions for setting up a TextExpander Organization for your team.

This does apply to existing subscriptions that have expired as well.

If you are upgrading from a previous version, you do need to create a account first.

Set Up Billing

Once you’ve created the Organization, open the Organization’s settings to the billing tab.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Choose the name of your TextExpander Organization on the left side of the screen then select Billing.
  3. Select the orange button on the right-hand side, this will either say “Start Subscription” or “Get a Team Plan” dependent on your account’s current status.  

From there, follow the screens to set up a payment plan, choosing monthly or annual payments, and a payment method, such as a credit card.

Billing works on credits, you will pre-purchase one credit per user per month.

If you have an Individual account, this is all separate from your individual account payments. As a part of the Organization, you, and all the other organization members, are now paid for by the organization.
