Share Organization Snippet Groups With Guest Members

You can share Snippet Groups with other TextExpander users who aren’t a part of your TextExpander account, such as a contractor, intern, or project partner.

How to a share Snippet Group with a guest

1. Sign in to your TextExpander.com account and select “My Snippets” from the left sidebar.
2. Find the Snippet Group you’d like to share, click the three dots to the right, and select “Share”.
3. Enter the email address for the person who you’d like to invite and click “Invite”.
4. The invitee will receive an email invitation to join the Snippet Group.

Tips

• Guests must have their own TextExpander account. 
• Sharing a Snippet Group with a guest does not add them to your account and does not use your TextExpander credits.
• You can invite multiple guests at the same time by separating their email addresses with a comma.
• Guests must accept the invitation in order to view and expand the Snippet Group.
  • Guests can accept the invitation by clicking “Join Group” in the email invitation or by signing in to their TextExpander.com account, clicking on the three dots next to their name, and selecting “Invitations”.
• By default, guests have “Can expand” permission. Once a guest accepts the invitation you can change their permission. Learn more about Snippet Group Permissions.
• You can remove a guest from a Snippet Group at any time by navigating to the shared Snippet Group, clicking the three dots next to their name, and clicking “remove”.
