How to sign out of the TextExpander app

Sign in to the TextExpander app to access your snippets. There is no need to sign out of the app unless you are removing TextExpander from the device, or the app is having trouble accessing the TextExpander server. In which case, open the Preferences > Account tab to see if any connection troubles are noted there.

• Sign out of TextExpander on a Mac from the “TextExpander” menu in the menu bar on your Mac. TextExpander must be visible on the Dock for this, if it is not, visit Preferences > Appearance and uncheck Hide TextExpander icon in Dock.
• On Windows, sign out from the icon in the system tray.

Chrome

1. Click on the TextExpander icon in the upper right of the Chrome browser.
2. Select the cog/gear to open Options.
3. Choose “Sign out”.
