We are a team that cares deeply about our mission and constantly strives to do better. We are currently embracing the next generation of productivity with TextExpander + AI, enhancing efficiency while keeping users in control.

How we work together

Our values aren't posters on an office wall. As a remote company, they guide how we approach work, our customers, and each other every day.

Teamwork: We've got each other's backs. We grow and nurture our team. We take joy in others' successes.

Accountability: Trust makes our company run. We earn and reinforce that trust by meeting our commitments to one another.

Integrity: We do business honestly and honorably. We treat others as we wish to be treated. We do what we say we'll do, and others can count on that.

Passion for Customer: Our customers are the bedrock of our business. We provide excellent service and support because they deserve nothing less.

We hire people who already embody these values and live them every day.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Manager with high agency to define and lead our AI-powered product experiences. In our fast-paced, small team environment, You'll own how AI makes TextExpander smarter for teams; helping them save time, stay consistent, and remain compliant at scale. You'll own real surface area, and be accountable to ship features that customers use.

We are looking for a Product Manager with high agency to define and lead our AI-powered product experiences. you will play a crucial role in defining and validating the opportunity for our core platform with a focus on augmenting human abilities with AI to save time and stay compliant at scale.

This is an exciting inflection point for TextExpander. We're expanding from an individual productivity tool into an organizational platform focused on collaboration, consistency, and compliance. We are also actively working on bringing real benefits of AI to our customers, beyond the hype and the buzzwords. You'll have the opportunity to define and design 0-1 features that help enterprises bring order to their snippet libraries, maintain consistency across teams, and ensure compliance at scale. Much of this territory is uncharted; You’ll be shaping what TextExpander becomes, not just iterating on what already exists.

Product sets the Tone. You'll work directly with design and engineering teams to shape roadmaps and set the tone. This isn't a role where you'll hand PRDs and wait for them to be shipped; You'll be responsible for what we build and why.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, Shape, and Deliver on the product roadmap for Human:AI collaboration pillar in our product strategy. This includes features such as AI snippet recommendations, Generation of snippets using AI, and other ways to make AI genuinely useful to customers.

  • Own key surfaces including the TextExpander AI recommendation engine chrome extension, and driving adoption of the features in our native apps on Windows and Mac.

  • Partner with engineering, design, and data to define and delivery customer experience

  • Drive adoption of all features by collaborating with marketing, customer success, sales and support teams

  • Align cross functional teams to deliver a cohesive end to end customer experience for the surfaces that you own.

  • This role can expand based on your background. If you've worked on activation, conversion, or expansion loops before, there's an opportunity to own those workstreams here.

How you'll work:

  • Ship end-to-end. Specs that sit in folders aren't shipped features.

  • Talk to customers weekly. Real conversations, not just via proxies.

  • Drive adoption after launch. Usage is the scorecard.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 years experience in Product Management. You've shipped features that real customers use. Bonus if you've worked on AI/ML-powered products.

  • Sharp product sense. You synthesize insights from customer calls, market shifts, and technology trends, and translate those  into product opportunities. Your conviction comes from empathy for the customer, and deep understanding of the business.

  • Comfortable with data. You can pull your own queries, build dashboards, and spot patterns in usage metrics. You don't wait for analysts to tell you what's happening.

  • Clear communicator. You write crisp specs. You run efficient meetings. You tell a story through your demos. You can explain a complex feature to a customer and a technical tradeoff to an executive.

  • Remote-first experience. You've worked asynchronously across time zones. You over-communicate in writing because you know that's how distributed teams succeed.

  • You build with AI. Show us your Claude Projects folder. Walk us through how you use Cursor, ChatPRD, or Copilot. We want someone who's already integrated AI into their daily workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Growth team experience. You've run experiments, optimized funnels, and understand how product decisions drive acquisition and retention metrics.

  • Cross-platform product work. You've shipped on desktop, mobile, and web simultaneously. You know the pain of keeping feature parity across platforms.

  • Enterprise SaaS background. You understand compliance requirements, admin consoles, SSO integrations, and what it takes to close six-figure deals.

  • Scale-up experience. You've navigated the messy middle between product-market fit and true scale. You know how to balance shipping fast with building for the long term.

Benefits:

  • High level of autonomy in your role

  • Motivated and creative teammates

  • Flexible schedule

  • Salary: $155K - $175K DOE

  • Employment benefits:

    • Healthcare reimbursement plan (ICHRA plan)

    • Paid parental leave

    • Company-paid Short- and Long-term disability insurance
