Keeping up with cardiology means more than reading journals. Conferences put you in the room where new trial data drops, where you can corner the researcher behind that study you have questions about, and where the hallway conversations sometimes teach you more than the sessions. We rounded up 11 cardiology conferences worth tracking in 2026, with verified dates and locations.
Practitioners such as Dr. Melanie Hsu of the Children’s Health Council trust TextExpander to spend less time in documentation and reduce repetitive stress in their fingers and wrists.

Several conferences have moved cities for 2026. ACC heads to New Orleans, Heart Rhythm shifts to Chicago, ESC moves to Munich, and TCT lands in San Diego. Double-check your travel plans if you attended these in 2025.
1. Cardiology 2026 — Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)
Dates: February 25 – March 1, 2026
Location: Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, Scottsdale, AZ
Website: chop.edu/events/cardiology-2026
CHOP’s annual update on pediatric and congenital cardiovascular disease is now in its 29th year. The audience skews toward specialists: pediatric cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, ACHD specialists, sonographers, and perfusionists. Format runs plenary sessions, subspecialty breakouts, moderated panels, and discussion groups. Sessions go from 7 am to 1 pm EST daily, which leaves your afternoons free.
Biggest change for 2026: the venue moved from Lake Buena Vista, Florida to Scottsdale, Arizona. Register through chop.cloud-cme.com.
2. Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) 2026
Dates: March 6–9, 2026
Location: Washington Hilton Hotel, Washington, DC
Website: crtmeeting.org
CRT stays put in DC at the Washington Hilton, same as prior years. What makes this one worth attending is the range: eight program tracks covering Complex PCI, CTO, Endovascular, Innovations & Digital Health, Valve & Structural, Women in Cardiology, Heart Failure, and Electrophysiology. That breadth means you can tailor your schedule to whatever you’re working on clinically.
The meeting blends new trial data with hands-on technique demonstrations, so you walk away with things you can apply in the cath lab the following week. Registration at crtmeeting.org. Contact: info@crtmeeting.org.
3. ACC Annual Scientific Session (ACC.26)
Dates: March 28–30, 2026
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Website: accscientificsession.acc.org
The ACC Annual Scientific Session needs no introduction for anyone in cardiology. With 56,000+ members across 140+ countries, the American College of Cardiology is the largest professional organization in the field, and the annual session is where the biggest late-breaking trials land. If you can only attend one conference a year, this is probably it.
New Orleans replaces Chicago as the 2026 host city. Branded as “ACC.26” this year.
4. Heart Rhythm 2026
Dates: April 23–26, 2026
Location: McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois
Website: heartrhythm.com
Four days of electrophysiology. Heart Rhythm Society bills this as “the biggest and best four days in EP,” and with 10,000+ attendees expected, that’s hard to argue with. The meeting covers the full spectrum of arrhythmia care, from research to clinical delivery.
Location flipped from San Diego in 2025 to Chicago for 2026. McCormick Place is massive, which helps with the crowd size but means comfortable shoes are non-negotiable.
5. Inovine International Cardiology Congress 2026
Dates: June 8–9, 2026 (London) · October 19–20, 2026 (Tokyo)
Location: Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport, UK (June) · Hilton Tokyo, Shinjuku City (October)
Website: cardiology.inovinemeetings.com
A note on naming: the 2025 edition ran as “World Cardiology Congress” in Zurich. For 2026, Inovine Meetings has split this into two events. The 7th International Cardiology Congress runs June 8–9 in London, and the 8th World Heart Congress follows October 19–20 in Tokyo. Both are hybrid format.
The London edition is the closer match to the original June timing, so we’re listing it as the primary date. If you prefer a fall conference or want to combine it with travel to Asia, the Tokyo edition is an option. Early bird pricing for London closed March 11, 2026, but standard registration should still be open. Contact: cardiology@inovinemeetings.com.
6. Complex Coronary Cases (CCC) 2026
Dates: June 17–18, 2026
Location: Mount Sinai Hospital & New York Marriott Marquis, New York, NY
Website: cccsymposium.org
This is a niche conference, and that’s the point. CCC zeroes in on multi-device revascularization for complex coronary artery disease, with a particular focus on calcified bifurcation lesions. Organized by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the two-day program features live case demonstrations where you watch interventionalists work through genuinely difficult anatomy in real time.
If you do complex PCI, this is one of the few meetings built specifically around what you deal with every day. Two days, tight focus, no filler.
7. Echo Whistler 2026 — Mayo Clinic (Frontiers of Multimodality Imaging)
Dates: Likely July 2026 (exact dates not yet confirmed)
Location: Likely Whistler, BC, Canada (historically at Fairmont Chateau Whistler)
Website: cveducation.mayo.edu
Full name: “Frontiers of Multimodality Imaging including Echo, Cardiac CT, and MRI.” The 2025 edition ran July 11, and Mayo’s other 2026 imaging courses are confirmed and active, so there’s every reason to expect this one returns. That said, the 2026 dates haven’t been officially posted yet.
What makes Echo Whistler stand apart is the live patient scanning component. You’re not watching recorded clips. Attendees work through cases with actual patients, emphasizing comprehensive echocardiographic acquisition and management decisions based on imaging data. The integration of echo, CT, and MRI and how they complement each other clinically is a recurring theme throughout. Check cveducation.mayo.edu for confirmed 2026 dates and registration as they become available.
8. Mayo Clinic Cardiology Update: Heart of the Matter
Dates: July 29 – August 1, 2026
Location: Enchantment Resort, Sedona, Arizona
Website: cveducation.mayo.edu
Now in its 17th year, Heart of the Matter covers a wide range: arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease, and related topics through interactive didactic sessions and case discussions. The Mayo Clinic faculty keeps the content practical and clinically relevant.
The real draw might be the venue. Enchantment Resort in Sedona is the same location as 2025, and it’s one of those conference settings where the environment alone justifies the trip. Morning sessions, red rock views in the afternoon. Worse ways to earn CME.
9. ESC Congress 2026
Dates: August 28–31, 2026
Location: Munich, Germany
Website: escardio.org/Congresses-Events/ESC-Congress
ESC Congress is the European counterpart to ACC, and it’s massive. Munich hosts in 2026 after Madrid in 2025. The congress offers hybrid attendance (in-person and online), with early registration savings available through May 31, 2026. Late-breaking science submissions are due June 1, 2026.
One thing to watch for this year: ESC has flagged AI in cardiology as a special focus area. Given how fast AI tools are moving into diagnostic imaging and risk stratification, expect dedicated programming around that topic. The ESC President for this cycle is Prof. Thomas Felix Luescher, with Prof. Tomasz Guzik chairing the Congress Programme Committee.
10. Hawaii Cardiovascular Symposium 2026
Dates: October 21–24, 2026
Location: Oahu, Hawaii (specific venue TBA — historically at Ritz-Carlton Oahu)
Website: hawaiicardiovascularsymposiums.com
The 24th annual Hawaii Cardiovascular Symposium covers heart failure, interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, electrophysiology, and cardiology research. What sets this one apart from most conferences is the dedicated programming on provider wellness. Sessions address burnout prevention and holistic well-being alongside the clinical content.
Registration is open. Early bird pricing runs through June 30, 2026. Full agenda details are listed as “coming soon.” Note: this is a separate event from the International Hawaii Cardiovascular Symposium (IHCVS) that ran February 5–6, 2026 at the University of Hawaii. Contact: 424.278.3499.
11. TCT 2026 — Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics
Dates: October 31 – November 3, 2026
Location: San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA
Website: tctconference.com
TCT is the premier meeting for interventional cardiology, organized by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF). San Diego takes over as host city after San Francisco in 2025. Registration opens late March 2026.
The Call for Science is already accepting submissions across several categories: Challenging Cases, Scientific Abstracts, Innovation/TCT Shark Tank, and Late-Breaking Clinical Trials. If you’re presenting research or working on device innovation, start preparing your submissions now. CRF contact: 646.434.4500.
