San Francisco, CA – January 10, 2017 – Smile, the developer of productivity applications for Mac, Windows, iPad and iPhone, has released an update for TextExpander for Mac, the popular typing shortcut tool for smarter communication. Version 6.1.3 adds support for the new MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar as well as improving VoiceOver support in the snippet editor.

“We’re pretty excited about the opportunities posed by Apple’s new Touch Bar,” said Smile founder, Greg Scown, “Faster access to tools in TextExpander means we can help people be that much more productive during their day.”
