Do I have Admin privileges in my TextExpander for Windows account?

How to check if you have Admin privileges for your Windows account

Installing TextExpander for Windows requires Administrator privileges. This is to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible experience to the largest number of users, including more reliable expansion, support for more applications, and the display of fill-in windows above full-screen Metro/Modern/Store apps. To check if you have Administrator privileges on your Windows account, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Start button. The Start Menu will appear.

2. Right-click the name (or icon, depending on the version of Windows 10) of the current account, located at the top left part of the Start Menu, then click on Change account settings.

3. The Settings window will appear. If you see the word “Administrator” under the name of the account, then it is an Administrator account.
